Intro
Are you looking for support as a survivor of gender-based violence (sexual assault, domestic/dating violence, harassment, stalking, or family abuse)? Do you have questions about safety or supporting a survivor in your life?
The Campus Advocacy Network is here for you!
CAN is a program of the Women’s Leadership and Resource Center that provides advocacy, education, and training for UIC students, faculty, and staff of all gender identities, sexualities, and racial and ethnic backgrounds. We are a confidential, free resource available to all members of our community.
I have questions about safety and healing.
Connect with an advocate to build a safety plan, talk about what is going on, learn about resources, explore reporting options, ask for help from your instructors, and more.
I want to make UIC a safer place.
Attend a CAN training; request a workshop focused on Gender-based Violence for your staff, student organization, or team; ask an advocate to visit your class; join Peers to Allies; come to our events; and more!
